Cappella Proprietary Red Wine

2018

Traubensorten Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot
Trinktemperatur 16° - 18°

Cappella is located in the west of St. Helena. Commissioned by the church in the 1980s to uproot the old vineyard, they kept David in suspense for two decades until they gave him permission to plant a new vineyard, for which he needed two attempts, as the first planting was infested in places with parasites that caused the vine to die. The first harvest was in 2006. This is a wine that could easily turn your head if you let it. It smells breathtakingly spicy, with coffee notes underneath the spice, but suddenly a wave of wonderful fruit washes everything else out of the way and takes its place, only to make way for the spice again the next time you smell it. An exciting game that presents itself to the observer. On the palate, the wine surprises with the best structure, which is also almost perfectly absorbed into the body and is of silky quality. You must try this wine!
