Studer only sells what he likes to drink himself!
Mysterious wines, sometimes those that are open, accessible and flattering, but ALWAYS harmonious, with character and personality. Mature wines that reflect the grape variety from which they are made, the terroir from which they originate and the hand of the winemaker who raised them.
Who are our winegrowers, you ask?
We know all our winegrowers personally. Some are our friends and some we even count as family. They are all partners we can rely on. Year after year, they supply us with the best that Mother Nature is able to give.
Are you interested in how and where we buy?
We buy all our wines directly from the source, i.e. directly from the winegrower. With us, you are safe from fakes and only buy originals!
No worries about temperature fluctuations.
We work with handmade works of art that have been stabilized with SO2, not excessively, but with sensitivity. As a result, they are a little more fragile than others and need a little more attention. This is why we transport ALL our wines in conditioned vehicles at a constant +14° Celsius. Our partner for transportation in Europe is the company Krummen from Kerzers, where Daniel Anliker and Elis Körber take care of the appointments with our winegrowers and also the customs clearance of the wines. Daniel, Elvis and the Krummen drivers do an excellent job. Thank you very much for your commitment! Our only warehouse is also conditioned to a constant +14° Celsius. Our store is kept at a constant +20° Celsius. Even our transporter, which we use to deliver our wines, is conditioned to +14° Celsius. We only send wines by post or forwarding agents if we cannot deliver them ourselves and if the temperatures allow it.
Studer has pharmacy prices, you might say.
But that's not quite true!
Our prices reflect the pricing policy of each winegrower as well as the current currency situation and are absolutely free of speculation - many of our wines fetch a much higher price on the secondary market, sometimes even several times our price. We willingly pass on any currency advantage to our customers, which is a matter of course for us.
What we also leave to our colleagues is the discount battle. Nothing is further from our minds than offering a wine so overpriced that we can grant inflationary discounts of 20, 30, 40 or even 50 percent. Because we know that you, our valued customers, have long since seen through such providers.
