Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Charmes des Fuées

The vines in Les Charmes, which were planted in 1965, are at their best age. Rather young vines by Perrot-Minot standards. Crazy, isn't it? Our sommelier Martin Lunter thinks that Les Charmes is one of the chicest and most exciting sites among the Chambolle-Musignys. Of course, Les Amoureuses is the site with the highest reputation, but as is the case, everything is directly reflected in the price. So Les Charmes has a real chance of becoming everybodys darling. So not this wine here, no chance, because with 3000 square meters of land, Christophe was only able to fill 292 bottles. But the wine is simply a stunner! Seductive, this red berry fruit, playful, dancing; floral components join the fruit and there is a hint of liquorice over everything. Fresh plum and a touch of redcurrant open the palate, silky tannins shape the wine and give it a powerfully impressive finish. The name says it all: Les Charmes!
