We are happy to confirm what its name already suggests: The Gevrey-Chambert Dix Climats is composed from ten different parcels or ten different climate zones, or in other words, from ten different terroirs. A wonderful starter wine that smells great of ripe red berries, lavender and a hint of violets. Something like this in a glass after a tiring day? It lets you sit back, relax and prepares you for a wine that is dense on the palate, yet elegant, full of finesse and with fine-grained, excellently integrated tannins. In fact, the entry-level wine is always extremely important to me, because if it can do something, like this Villages wine from Philippe Drouhin, then you can rely almost blindly on the wines from the great sites. But a Gevrey-Village is also something very, very tasty. You'll see for yourself!
