Gigondas Le Plateau

Actually, this wine should not even exist, a pure Mourvedre. I mean according to the specifications of the Gigondas appellation. Nevertheless, it is in my glass. And how! A firework display of aromas pours out of the glass, combining fruity and spicy notes, such as black cherries and liquorice. All of a sudden, peppery notes and the mysterious aroma of the best bloody steak come to the surface and completely change the bouquet. But not until I raise the glass again, then the fruit and spice interplay is back. And so it goes on and on, this beguiling perfume is constantly reassembling itself, entertaining me without me noticing, I am so busy with the wine. Of course, the palate also has a lot to offer, and by a lot I mean a lot! The juicy, silky tannins and good freshness combine power with elegance in an incredibly attractive way. A wine that will give you endless pleasure!
