Pinot Noir Hirsch Vineyard

Hirsch is great Burgundy cinema. Even Ted Lemon, perhaps the biggest critic of his own wines, really likes it. He compares the wine with a Burgundy from the sixties. An interesting comparison. Ted also knows his way around Burgundy, having worked there for two years. The bouquet is almost like a perfume - the stag's aroma is so varied and intense. Cranberries dominate for a moment, only to be replaced by notes of gingerbread in the next second. On the palate, the wine is dense and concentrated, showing great freshness and precision. By the way, I almost forgot to mention that the grapes for this wine were only partially destemmed. Hence the freshness, precision and liveliness. This is undoubtedly a wine with class! But please give it some more time in the bottle, it will reward you royally!
