Buisson Renard

2022

Traubensorten Sauvignon Blanc
Trinktemperatur 10° - 12°

My buddy Antoine Petrus brought a 2007 Buisson Renard to dinner at Les 110 in October 2018. It was Didier's last Dagueneau vintage that he had worked on, for which Antoine appreciated him so much. In 2008, Didier crashed his light aircraft near Coganc. It is said to have been a difficult vintage that needed time, but there was no sign of that on this Sunday evening. The wine stood there like a one, as if it had only been bottled a few months ago. A fine, elegant but omnipresent fruit characterized the bouquet. Here and there, spicy components interwove with the fruit and gave the aroma a certain twist, making it more complex and even more interesting. A great, no, breathtaking wine flowed onto the palate, so perfectly formed, clear, transparent and seemingly never-ending, incredible! This vintage is different, it is as much fun right out of the box as the 2007 was only after eleven years.
