Chardonnay C

We see the Chardonnay C as Pellegrin's answer to the great Burgundies! Because this wine shares a lot with its role models, not just the grape variety from which it is made. The terroir in Pellegrin's corner is not really different from Burgundy. The way Pellegrin cultivates the vineyards is also totally Burgundian. The spontaneous fermentation, the ageing - everything has a Burgundian touch. Only the climate is somewhat different, more stable than in Burgundy. This has the advantage that you can expect more homogeneous vintage qualities. I am quite sure that this wine here will be a showcase Chardonnay that the whole of Switzerland will be proud of. Spicy, delicately fruity with a good dash of minerality on the nose, then powerful, yet elegant and wonderfully juicy, with a long salty finish on the palate, this wine will also delight you if you like such great Chardonnays!
