Chassagne-Montrachet Hereditas

We were so excited about the 2019 that we feared everything that came after it would disappoint us. But these concerns were completely unfounded. That doesn't happen to Joseph Colin. His experience is too great, the winemaker is too talented, as Joseph has already made more than 10 vintages for his parents' company, Marc Colin, and proved himself to be a highly talented winemaker even back then. Now that he can operate completely free of tradition, he is at his absolute best. Every conversation with him is refreshing, brings us new insights, new knowledge and changes our image of the ideal wine considerably. That's a good thing, I'd say! Joseph's Chassagne-Montrachet Village is a powerfully spicy wine, already highly mineral on the nose, which fulfills exactly what its aroma promises on the palate: it is elegant and fresh, yet dense and its finish is long, juicy and wonderfully mineral. A magical wine!
