Montagny 1er Cru Les Combes

It is visionary people like Pascal and Marko who recognize the enormous, undiscovered potential that lies dormant in the Montagny appellation. They invest an unimaginable amount of time, work and therefore a considerable sum of money because they are certain that great whites can grow here in Montagny. The plot where the grapes for this wine are grown was only replanted in 2013; and this was clearly done using the "Selection Massalle" method, in which the wood from the best vines, which bear the most beautiful fruit, is deliberately used as a genetic pool. The wine has an expressive aroma of white fruit, hazelnuts and a delicate hint of nutmeg. Tempting, isn't it? Powerful and yet with charm, freshness and elegance, the wine moves through the palate with taut muscles, loosens the saliva and ends in a long, wonderfully saline finish. Wonderful!
