Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru La Garenne

In future, the once less good, late-ripening sites will be among the most sought-after. This is because they are capable of continuing to ripen fruit that retains good acidity, allowing a harmonious wine to be made! Believe it or not, for me at least, there's something to it. La Garenne, high up on the hill in the commune of Blangy, is my new favorite of the appellation. Just a few years ago, it was Etienne Sauzet's Champ-Canet. History! La Garenne is a wonderfully aromatic wine, seductively scented with lemon peel, white flowers and mysterious spices, it will immediately captivate you. From the moment the wine touches your palate, you will be hooked for good. Sorry! Addicted! Wonderful how it meanders and caresses the palate with every movement. Its finish? Precise, juicy and insanely succulent. In a word, breathtaking!
