Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Clos du Meix

I love these wines from Joseph! Also the Clos du Meix, which is also a site where the grapes ripen late, up to an incredible three weeks later than Colin's earliest. Extreme, isn't it? This produces wines with killer aromas that remain wonderfully elegant. An unusual combination! This Les Combes has an incredible aroma, a floral fragrance dominated by white blossom aromas, carried by a sea of gooseberry aromas, which in turn are based on a wax component. And on the palate? Yes, the palate is similarly diverse. But be careful not to enjoy the wine too cold and give it some air, as this will make the palate more appealing, the wine denser, more complex and the finish longer and more harmonious.
