Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Murgers des Dents de Chien

A brand-new site and a brand-hot one at that, as these vines are in the immediate vicinity of Chevalier Montrachet, my favorite on the other side. Unfortunately, I have to admit that I don't have something as complex as this Murgers des Dents de Chien in my glass every day. Sure, I'm just a simple wine merchant. But that's ok, I don't really have to do without it. But now to the wine, which has had time to develop now that it's been in my glass for a few minutes. The intensity with which the aromas are released and entertain me is incredible. The aroma wheel is diverse, complementary, shows many different levels, ranging from apple, peach and lemon to brioche, herbs and yes, iodine. Everything is constantly recombining. A hellishly pungent aroma. On the palate, the wine is focused, with an athletic body and an infinitely long, finely saline, unimaginably precise finish. Wow, what a wine! Kudos Joseph!
