Barolo Cannubi, once synonymous with Luciano Sandrone and today one of the most sought-after and expensive vineyards in Piedmont. It was Luciano who made this vineyard famous with his wines. The site became hot, hotly coveted. Owning a few square meters there became the dream of every Barolo winemaker. It's hard to believe, but Silvia and Elio actually managed to buy something there. At an astronomical price, nota bene, which must ultimately be reflected in the price of the wine. Nevertheless, the wine is great and I think it's worth the money. I like the interpretation of the terroir from the Altares cellar better today, i.e. that of the Sandrones. And I'm not saying this because I sell Altare, no, we could also sell Sandrone, but as I said, it's more like Altare. Try it out, broaden your horizons with Altares Cannubi!
