Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

We have tasted countless Cabernets from the Napa Valley over the past 25 years. There have been great, exceptional wines, the likes of which could not be better imagined. Initially, we were obsessed with finding at least one wine within, let's call it a reasonable price range, that met our ideals. But we soon realized that our requirements were probably just too high. Until we met Wine-Robin-Hood, as we call Thomas Brown, who we had met at Turley Cellars and who set up his own business after leaving there. Thomas, who is also responsible for this wine, knows every respectable farmer in the valley and thus gets hold of the best fruit, which he transforms into great, often great wines. This one, for example, is a stunning example, with notes of cassis, spices and floral scenery, a powerful body and ripe, silky tannins! Fantastic ... a bargain!
