Gilles Ferran has bottled a great wine in the name of his friend and, in this case, business partner Philippe Cambie, who died far too young. Gilles and Madeline have more to offer than just power! The brushstrokes, if one were to compare the winemaker to a painter, have become finer and more precise. The aroma is dark berry as usual and is now dominated by Grenache. Spice and tarry components combine to create a deep, ultra complex bouquet. The Grenache brings elegance and this Burgundian character to the marriage, giving the wine finesse. It appears somewhat cooler than usual, more elegant and juicier. A great wine that delivers without precedent and is hard to beat in terms of value for money! It's a shame that our friend Philippe no longer gets to experience how great his vineyard delivers. THANK YOU, for every single great wine and there were many of them that you bottled for us!
