Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru

2021

Traubensorten Pinot Noir
Trinktemperatur 16° - 18°

Don't let anyone fool you. Chapelle-Chambertin is a real, full-fledged Grand Cru that is worth having in the cellar, and even better in the glass. This corner in particular, which is owned by Drouhin-Laroze, part of which was planted in 1973 and the other in 1986, has huge potential. Domaine Drouhin-Laroze covers half a hectare here, just enough to be dangerous, my friend Manfred Krankl would say ironically. Philippe has created a concentrated, unusually exotic wine that, despite all its power, never loses its contours for a second, is always precisely focused and plays the mineral keyboard with virtuosity. This floral fragrance is wonderful, these great raspberry aromas that together compose an irresistible perfume. This is a killer wine that I enjoy again and again!
