Châteauneuf-du-Pape La Combe des Fous

Just a few weeks ago I enjoyed a 2006 with my wife. The wine was stunning. At that moment, I wished I had a bottle that would never run out! Unfortunately, it was empty at some point. Today I am delighted to finally be able to offer you another new vintage of Combe des Fous, the 2015. This thing has it all, I can tell you! Wow, the way the wine smells, dark berries, spicy herbs, liquorice and something meaty, perhaps the latter can be compared to the best beef matured on the bone. And at the very bottom there seems to be a bunch of flowers somewhere, giving the bouquet a floral twist. The wine flows powerfully onto the palate, showing the transparency that makes it so incredibly elegant. Breathtaking! This wine is only available in combination with the Tradition cuvée, in a ratio of two parts Tradition and one part Combe des Fous.
