Châteauneuf-du-Pape Tradition

One of my all-time favorites is the base wine from Clos Saint Jean. Vincent and Pascal Maurel know exactly how important this wine is. They would never press their prestigious cuvées at the expense of the quality of this wine. As you can see, you can trust the Maurels blindly. A fascinating interplay of dark berry aromas entertains you at the highest level. And before it gets boring, fleshy flavors and spicy components mix in and perfect the lure! On the palate, the wine is unbeatably beautiful, even in its youth! The wine exerts a lot of pressure, shows its silky structure and builds up to a long, long, focused finish that has never been seen before in this price category. If this isn't a bargain, then there probably won't be anything like it!
