Many years ago, Marco already focused on organic farming and quality. His Chianti Classici are the hottest thing the appellation has to offer, and at a really decent price. The 2019 from a sensational, great vintage has a fantastic aroma of herbs and cedar wood. The bouquet has a dark berry heart and flowers and floral aromas are arranged around it, giving the wine depth. It constantly reassembles itself and entertains me very well. On the palate, the wine has plenty of body, moves agilely and cheerfully across the tongue and unpacks silky tannins that frame the wine. An honest organic wine from the heart of Tuscany, emphasizing the terroir.
