The Chianti Classico Montebello Sette is a Riserva which, as is very often the case today, is not declared as such, but is instead labeled as a single-vineyard wine. This allows the winemaker to take the wine out of the wooden barrel a little earlier and bottle it where it can actually mature much better than in the wooden barrel. Well done dear Tolainis. This wine is for all those who love Sangiovese, preferably one that shows the first notes of maturity, in which red berry aromas alternate with malty components and provide the best entertainment for the nose. The wine flows elegantly onto the palate and shows character, structure and finesse. A great wine that can be used universally, that goes well with cold dishes, cheese, pasta but also makes a good accompaniment to a great chicken or roast. Try a full-bodied Sangiovese like this again!
