This is Clape's second wine, so to speak. But wait, wait, who is going to want to click on here, stay here! Please excuse me...but otherwise you might not have read any further, which would be a shame. Because the fruit for this wine receives the same attention in the vineyard and is later pressed like the great Cornas! Renaissance comes from younger vineyards, whose vines are not yet quite as deeply rooted and therefore cannot yet provide the fruit with those complex aromas. On the other hand, it drinks wonderfully young and is also lighter. It is, so to speak, more cheerful and a lot of fun. I love the way it smells of black pudding and pepper, with small dark berry aromas adding a fruity component. On the palate, the wine is elegant, silky structured and wonderfully harmonious. A great, no great wine! Don't miss out on this one, you will regret it!
