Côtes-du-Rhône

This is a wine for insiders, because who buys a simple Côtes- du-Rhône? Only the connoisseur, right? I am trying to make this wine palatable to you because I am firmly convinced that A, this is a great wine that has much more to offer than its name and origin would suggest and B, because you, dear customer, are close to my heart. Laurent's Côtes-du-Rhône grows on sandy soil, on old vines whose yield is naturally lower than that of young vines. Laurent Charvin cultivates these vineyards with the same dedication and presses the wine with the same restraint as his Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Unadulterated, honest aromas adorn the nose, wonderful spicy aromas, pepper and mineral components literally leap out of the glass. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, elegant, silky and ends harmoniously and juicy. A great wine at a great price!
