Dolcetto was still on everyone's lips back in the 90s. It was appreciated as a fresh, fruity, uncomplicated wine that wonderfully entertained everyone, whether connoisseur or occasional wine drinker. It would do the same today if only it could get the attention it did back then. An Elio Altare, or today a Silvia Altare, know that they are not only measured by their great wines, no, their Dolcetto is also a figurehead. After all, anyone who pays due attention to their supposedly small wines will probably not work any less thoroughly on the big ones. Here you can be sure that you will get a hell of a Dolcetto in your glass, which smells so wonderfully of blackberries and kitchen herbs that you can't help but bring the glass to your mouth, take a sip and notice that the wine is wonderfully dense, flows wonderfully silky and finishes fresh and precise.
