Duché d'Uzès rouge Volcae

Nicolas used to work for Clos Saint Jean, probably the brightest new star in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape firmament. But back home in the Gard department, on the right bank of the Rhône, north of Costière de Nîmes, there was a winery waiting to be kissed awake. Nicolas has had to make a lot of changes in the vineyard and is now literally beginning to reap the rewards. His Volcae is a poem! It's very rare to find such a wonderful wine with a floral nose in a glass. You have to taste it to believe it. Elegant and balanced, it glides over the tongue and caresses the palate. Its structure is naturally of the highest quality and superbly integrated. A great wine and a bargain!
