G2 Vineyard

2020

Traubensorten Grenache, Mourvedre
Trinktemperatur 16° - 18°

The G2 Vineyard is dominated by Grenache, which gives the wine - please don't laugh, because I know I'm talking about a Paso wine here - something Burgundian. Perhaps this is not so obvious when the wine is young, but once it has been in the bottle for seven or eight years, this character works its way to the fore. Now, however, the G2 is a familiar powerhouse. The aromas seem to be hurled out of the glass in countless microscopic explosions, right into the face of the connoisseur. There is something Christmassy in the aroma, gingerbread spices, candied orange peel, peppernut, but also black berries, which provide the bass aromas. Tannins as fine as silk flow over the tongue and are wrapped up in an unbelievable extract at the end, which can cause a pleasant crick in the neck. Close to Heaven. Sorry, Anja and Hans Jörg, I hope you won't be angry with me for copying your slogan!
