Grenache God only Knows

It is well known that Baron can do Syrah, but the fact that he also has a knack for Grenache might come as a surprise to some of you. He proves this with God Only Knows Grenache, a wine that is one of the best that this variety is capable of producing, not only in the USA, but in general. It is fascinating how spicy the wine smells before wonderful aromas of Tarocco oranges (if you peel one and spray the essential oils) join in and give the fragrance a new direction. But don't worry, there's a lot more to it than just oranges and spice. Elegant, yes, I would say fresh, the wine moves through the palate and dresses it in silk before the enormously long and highly precise, juicy finish begins. An almost perfect wine that cannot be found better in the south of France!
