Hautes-Cotes de Beaune ROUGE Les Paizets

I had to taste countless wines before I tasted a Hautes-Côtes de Beaune two years ago, which reminded me to take a closer, much closer look, to look away from the big appellations and discover wines that were almost unsellable five, six or more years ago. Unsaleable not only because nobody was interested in the appellation, no, also because the wines were not pressed with the necessary care and passion and were simply not worth mentioning. The parents, worn out by the hard, thankless work, encouraged the children to try new paths, and so the landscape of the "small appellations" in Burgundy changed visibly. Well-educated, enthusiastic young people with vision are stepping in and turning everything upside down, making great, sometimes great wines, living their dream and being successful because they work hard, dare and ultimately because they make good wines, wines like this one!
