Monferrato Rosso Centenario

An unusual wine for this region, Cabernet Sauvignon with very little Barbera. But the Accornero family nonetheless manages to make a truly Piedmontese wine from this variety. Dark berries, liquorice in abundance and the finest roasted aromas dominate the aroma of this opaque dark wine. The palate is filled with flashes of aromas. A great and unexpected wine!
