The date is important for you, because it proves that the wines from the 2019 vintage onwards at Domaine Ruedin have nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with the wines from before 2018, either in terms of quality or style. Jacques Tatasciore is a man who makes Burgundy wines and puts elegance, finesse and terroir above all else. This is also true of this simple but extremely tasty, indeed fabulous Pinot Noir, which smells great of red berries, spices and perhaps even a little liquorice. On the palate, it has a fine, perfectly integrated structure and a well-proportioned body. The finish is precise, juicy and finely mineral.
