Irene's intermediate wine, so to speak. It just doesn't make it into the Eichholz, but it is simply too complex, too beautiful for the Jeninser. The fruit for the Alte Reben wine also comes from the Eichholz vineyard, from vines that are over 50 years old. This wine is great fun. And don't worry, Irene's wines from warmer years retain their finesse and become incredibly complex as they mature in the bottle. She just can do it! You will see. The wine smells wonderfully berry and spicy at the same time. Powerful and still showing its silky structure in its youth, it flows onto the palate. Give the wine some time in the bottle or, if you can't hold back, decant it. It will thank you for it!
