This Pinot Noir from the small wooden barrels is a blast! Wow, Annatina did everything right here, as always! The color alone is incredibly deep, surprisingly dark for a Burgundy and the aroma is also more on the berry side, not entirely unexpected for this above-average vintage. But there are also spicy components that add additional layers to the aroma. The wine flows powerfully into the palate, spreads out and takes possession. Then all of a sudden the wine unpacks its great structure, gives the whole a profile, practically puts the wine on its feet and carries it to a long, harmonious and juicy finish. A really great wine from the Herrschaft that you should definitely not miss. But only if you like Pinot, of course!
