Pinot Noir Eichholz Jenins

The great one from Irene, from the Eichholz vineyard. Much has been said and written about this wine. It is certainly one of the best that the Herrschaft is capable of producing. Irene knows how to give this wine personality, which it gets from the terroir, and she also knows how to bottle this wine, almost as it is, without plastering this wonderful terroir with any aromas. Of course it is dense, of course it is multi-layered, of course it is complex, but it is also charming if you give it time, either in the bottle or in the carafe. But it is also demanding and needs to be listened to, so it is not a wine for chilling out, but one for an evening of philosophy!
