Pinot Noir «Le Petit»

Yes, that's right, it's just the little one. Like you, I was really surprised. The Hermanns press it mainly from old Swiss Pinot Noir clones and also give it some of the Burgundy clones along the way. However, I believe that the old Swiss clones will produce the better wines in the Bündner Herrschaft today and even more so in the future. But we will see whether I am right or not. In any case, I would like to recommend this great, straightforward, wonderfully fruity and cheerful Burgundy, grown in steel and in used wooden barrels with a neutral aroma. It spoils you at the highest level with great berry aromas, spicy components and is elegant, polished and wonderfully accessible on the palate. A wine that I always enjoy and that has enough density and structure to be a great accompaniment to a wide variety of dishes. Give it a try!
