Pinot Noir N° 1

The scent of N° 1 is wonderful. Not delicate, no, but powerful and multi-layered with hints of red fruits and fine herbs. But the fruit components are clearly in the foreground, dominating. Incredibly attractive, as you can imagine. It is wonderful that no “make-up” has been applied to the wine, but that controlled air contact has polished the wine during its three-month maturation in used 800-liter barrels of Burgundian provenance. So, you can expect a stunningly fruity red that skillfully plays the keyboard of a Burgundy without becoming too serious. The focus here is on fun and immediate enjoyment.
