Pinot Noir Petaluma Gap

I once said Pinot Noir for Cab drinkers. This is absolutely true here if you enjoy the wine in its youth. But it will also lose its baby fat as it ages. If you prefer a more elegant Pinot Noir, but one with density and therefore extract, then I would put the wine away for about five or six years at a constant 12 to 14 degrees Celsius. Then you should be able to enjoy a great wine with Burgundian characteristics. Today, in its youth, the wine has a blueberry aroma and also brings some spice, such as smoke and something earthy. A complex aroma that rises from the glass. On the palate, you have a powerful wine with good structure, i.e. integrated tannins and a well-paced acidity that gives the wine freshness and precision. A remarkable Pinot Noir!
