Pinot Noir Solomon Hills «Le Suerte»

South of Santa Maria, a small windy, cool and I mean COOL place on the Central Coast, the Millers have planted an impressive vineyard, Solomon Hills, with the help of our buddy Chris Hammell. They also own Bien Nacido, one of the Coast's Grand Courses. The grapes for Latos Le Surte, which grow on sandy loam, come from Solomon Hills. The wine lies matt red in the glass, smelling of red currants, nutmeg and cinnamon, no no, it's not Christmas yet, but it won't be that long again. Watch out, there's also something spicy in the scent, pepper? Could that be it, yes exactly! Fine-grained, the wine flows into the palate, is taut and appears elegant, elegant, you could almost say cool. Its finish is long-lasting and somehow spicy. Top!
