Pinot Noir The Pivot Vineyard

Pivot is located right next to the winery, in Sebastopol and just shy of three acres, planted on rolling hills about seven miles off the coast. Ted planted various Pinot Noir clones. So it is also a bit of his testing ground. But the selection of clones was by no means haphazard, not at Ted Lemon. It's no coincidence that this is an outstanding, ok that's a bit stiffly worded#again, that this is a cracker of a Burgundy. Distinctive aromas ranging from spicy to red berry to mineral notes merge into a divine bouquet. With more air, wonderful floral aromas join in and make everything appear light and fleeting. Once on the palate, it immediately becomes clear that the little air in the glass may have helped the aroma, but a little more is needed to positively influence the texture, so pour the wine into a carafe or leave it for a while! In any case, this is really great!
