Rothwell Hyde Proprietary Red Wine

Brad Grimes, David Abreu's winemaker, is a madman when it comes to wine. All his senses are heightened, alert as he wanders through the vineyard. Not even the tiniest detail would escape his notice, if there was one. Because Abreu's Vineyard-Guys are the BEST! Even with the best, there are always one or two rows of vines that have to be replaced. So there are always young plants that produce great fruit, but because the plants are still young, they don't produce quite as complex aromas as the fruit from deeper-rooted vines. But even the fruit from young vines can be turned into a super tasty wine, just as the Rothwell Hyde is one that lacks absolutely nothing. It won't be a long-distance runner, but it doesn't have to be. I see it as a wine that is a lot of fun even in its youth. You should check this out!
