Santenay Gravité

Les Gravières, deservedly the most famous vineyard in Santeany! Here too, Jean-Marc plays with the density of the planting and, of course, with the man-high wall of foliage. You don't see it that often in Burgundy, but it has been making sense here for a few years now. In order not to compact the soil too much, the Vincents work in the vineyard with light caterpillar vehicles that look like children's toys, but do their work very effectively and gently. These and many other factors allow "quintessential" fruit to ripen, which is carefully and carefully transformed into the best wines. Like this breathtakingly beautiful wine, which smells of roses, dark cherries, liquorice and blackberries, chocolate and a mysteriously spicy component.
