Syrah S

This is possibly Jean-Pierre Pellegrin's secret star. Unfortunately, not too many people will be able to get to know him in the near future, so small is the production of this sensational wine! And no, Pellegrin did not do a stage with Jean-Louis Chave in Mauves. Or, Jean-Pierre? No, definitely not. JP is simply a natural talent, one who never tires of honing the quality of his wines, always learning from them, developing himself and his wines further. Great! But now to the wine, the Syrah S, which smells exactly as I expect a great Syrah to smell: fleshy, almost bloody, then wonderfully spicy again the next moment and wonderfully fruity in between. An extremely complex and captivating aroma. Power and structure are perfectly balanced, the wine is wonderfully balanced and caresses the palate. An unbelievably attractive wine that also shows a lot of potential. If you can get hold of a bottle, you should definitely consider yourself lucky! And yes, put the wine away for another year or two, maybe even three. If you can control yourself, this wine will thank you!
