Tempranillo Impulsivo

Not a wine for sissies, Bob Parker would say of Impulsivo. Impulsivo needs some air before its cedar wood notes, dark chocolate and, yes, iodine, like a Pessac-Leognan, combine with wonderful floral notes to create a profound aroma that makes you sniff the wine over and over again. But at some point the wine has to enter the mouth, the palate, as they say, where it really picks up steam without overdoing it. A wine with class. Power and juice and a good portion of the best tannins form a wine in a class of its own, which surprisingly points much more to Europe than to the USA. You should definitely give the wine a little more time to develop, around the end of the 2020s. However, it will probably only reach its best form a few more years later. But who knows, each of us has a different ideal to which we aspire. This Impulsivo is a great wine with potential!
