Trousseau NONCEAU «Cuvée des Géologues»

This vineyard faces northeast and is a rather cool corner of the Aviet line-up. However, this could prove to be an advantage in the future, now that the Jura is feeling the effects of global warming just like other regions. In any case, the potential of this location is enormous, we have already learned that much. In the wines from Nonceau, spice is king, or rather spices, but also cherry aromas, with a dash of violet scent, mingle in the bouquet. I am fascinated by the constant recomposition of the perfume and its indescribable depth. Magnificent! The wine is equally impressive on the palate. With an exceptionally firm structure, it flows into the furthest corner, into the last fold of the palate. Its tannins are present, perhaps a little more robust than those of its brothers, but of the very best quality. Nonceau wines require a little more patience, but when a Nonceau lets go, it sweeps everything away. Believe me! Pure finesse!
