Mmmmmh, how the wine smells. Extra, our buddy, the famous Antoine Petrus would say! This wine doesn't hold back, it shows what it has. There's nothing to it, I think. Or is there? An enchanting aroma rises from my Gabriel glass, which seems to have been made for this wine. This blackberry scent is insane. It smelled exactly like this when I was a little boy and had to pick our blackberries for my dad on a hot August day. Yes, back then, when everyone else was on the football pitch or at the lake, it was a must. Today it would probably be the other way around. So what do we have here, blackberries, tobacco and Maracaibo chocolate, a little thyme. As I said, pretty neat! The wine flows powerfully into the palate, showing juicy tannins and well-proportioned acidity which carries it for a long time and heralds a juicy, long finish, finely salty, i.e. mineral. An aristocratic Tuscan with personality and Italian charm. TOP!
