Thierry Glantenay, a gentle giant, proudly shows us his well thought-out and functional little cellar. This is just right for me, because I want to be impressed first and foremost by the wines and only secondly or even thirdly by the architecture ... sorry dear friends, but that's just the way it is. Nevertheless, I love great architecture, you know that, but here my focus is on something else: The Volnay Les Caillerets, which deserves my full attention, as do you! The way its bouquet is composed of floral scents, spicy notes and sweet red berry aromas - cherries are also present, and not in short supply. Delicate with enormous elegance, almost aristocratic, the wine flows on the palate, is not stingy with lush fruit and frames this with an exquisite structure of fine-grained tannin and ripe, juicy acidity. Great cinema!
