Volnay 1er Cru Les Santenots

Les Santenots is an outstanding terroir in the Volnay appellation. Great, long-lived wines grow here, but they also demand a lot of patience from us lovers of great Burgundy. It's no different with Glantenay's Les Santenots, which smells seductively of raspberries and plums, then flowers the next moment and soon spices. You know, this is exactly how I imagine the ideal Santenots fragrance - why does this wine present itself so enormously well in its youth? Showing plenty of shoulders, the wine moves on the palate and builds up a lot of pressure. The structure is present, almost chewy. There is a lot of meat on the bone here. Glantenay's wines are simply great!
