Zweigelt Granit

Zweigelt is to the Swiss today what Barbera was to him in the nineties. Of course, there are good reasons for this. For one thing, they are visually quite similar with their rich, dark ruby red color. The scent, too, often has parallels. Dark cherries and blackberries mingle with blueberry and delicate tobacco notes to create a great, super appealing aroma. On the palate, too, it is easy to understand why the Swiss favorite is called Zweigelt. Powerful yet elegant, the wine flows into the palate and builds up pressure without becoming heavy. Its structure is silky and wonderfully integrated, so that the wine finishes flattering and wonderfully fresh, precisely to the point, so to speak. Great and at this price. Who needs a «Schwarz-Rot» then?
