Auxerrois, sounds exotic, doesn't it? Well, it is. Otherwise you would probably have had a few Helvetian wines of this variety in your glass in the past and you would know exactly what you were getting yourself into. Well, since this is not the case, I will describe the wine to you - subjectively as always: The bouquet reminds me enormously of the scent of ripe mirabelle plums. With the next round that the wine makes in my glass, the scent of a crisp pear joins in. And if I let the wine rest for a moment, a wonderful honey scent rises from the glass. The image that the wine projects into my consciousness is crystal clear and high-resolution. Light-hearted, even cheerful, full of energy, the wine moves through the palate, showing a wonderful density without losing its lightness, and ends in a great finish, salty and incredibly juicy. Such a great wine, you must not miss it!
