Rarely has an Aligoté been so eagerly awaited as last Monday when we visited Joseph. Because if you can do Aligoté, you can do something, you could say casually. And what do you think? Of course, this certainly applies to Joseph Colin! His Aligoté smells so wonderfully exotic, multi-layered, with great fruit, but also delicate spicy aromas that combine to form a constantly evolving bouquet that makes your mouth water. Now then, let's get started: On the palate, the wine is miles away from those thin, meaningless Aligotés that are often served in France. There is power here, a good phenolic maturity, the freshness is optimally chosen and skillfully balances the wine, carries it, makes it lively and of course gives it an exhilarating finish, so that you want to take another sip right away. Mission accomplished!
