Chablis Valmur Grand Cru

Personally, I would rate the other Bessin wines just as highly as Burgundy's most respected wine critic has done. Admittedly, Valmur is an even more complex wine than Montmains, La Fôret or La Fourchaume. My measurement is more of a hedonistic nature and ultimately wants to express that I love Bessin's wines because they are so clear and unadulterated, so unobtrusive and yet direct, so undisguisedly crisp and fresh, with finesse and elegance Chablis great terroir in the center. Just like this great Valmur, which is one of the best, the highest rated wines of the appellation, and well deserved!

Pears and stone fruits mingle with the scent of white flowers, crème patissier and the perfume of rain-soaked asphalt. A multi-layered, constantly recombining fragrance that inevitably makes you bring the glass to your mouth. Muscular, fabulously complex in the center, finely chiselled, combining extract with acidity to create a fabulously attractive texture. Chapeau!
